Tammer Elmarsafi, DPM, is a fellowship trained Podiatric Surgeon . Dr. Elmarsafi is a highly trained, specialized foot and ankle surgeon who is devoted and passionate about making each patient's step less painful, and more enjoyable.
Dr. Elmarsafi completed his specialty of podiatric medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, along with his additional medical education background from Boston University School of Medicine, and Cairo University Medicine & Surgery. Dr. Elmarsafi later completed his residency at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and fellowship in Diabetic Limb Salvage at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
Dr. Elmarsafi's practice is largely focused in Diabetic Limb Salvage, the treatment of complex wound and ulcers of the foot and lower leg, and sports related injuries that include deformities of the foot and ankle. Dr. Elmarsafi is also a member to these highly skilled associations: American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), American College of Foot and Ankle Specialists (ACFAS), American Society of Podiatric Surgeons (ASPS), American Public Health Association (APHA)
Dr. Elmarsafi respectfully helps his patients by correcting their original problem from recurring and ensures them of informational techniques in the maintenance of good foot health.

Dr. Brittany Mayer is a fellowship trained foot and ankle surgeon and an associate member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. After graduating from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Mayer completed a three year PMSR/RRA surgical residency at DVA Maryland/Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, where she served as Chief Resident during her third year of training. Dr. Mayer found her residency training extremely rewarding as she was honored to participate in medical care and treat both active military and veteran patients in the Baltimore, MD; Washington, DC and Martinsburg, WV communities.
Following residency, Dr. Mayer completed the Foot&Ankle Deformity Correction and Orthoplastics Fellowship at the Rubin Institute of Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, MD. As the Foot & Ankle Deformity Correction fellow, Dr. Mayer advanced her training in clinical, radiographic and musculoskeletal evaluation of foot and ankle deformities, with a special interest and focus on minimally invasive/incision techniques for bunion correction and foot and ankle surgeries.
Throughout her residency and fellowship training, Dr. Mayer contributed to medical literature through the publication of journal articles, academic posters, manuscripts and lectures at both local and national conferences.
In her free time, Dr. Mayer loves traveling internationally, spending time with her family and friends and being outdoors. With a passion for sports, Dr. Mayer continues to support and cheer on her Alma Mater, the University of Maryland Terrapins.
Dr. Toll after over 30 years in practice has retired for a well deserved rest.
Vivian in responsible for working closely with our patients to ensure their best experience. She takes pride in working with patients and loves to always be the most helpful she can. She has been working at Crofton Podiatry since 2000. When not working, Vivian enjoys spending time with her twin sons and husband. Vivian is always available to answer any billing related questions.
